There is no shortage of well-intentioned people in India who are willing to help those less fortunate than themselves. This has resulted in a large number of smaller NGOs being set up across the country.
Unfortunately, while the people involved with these NGOs are dedicated and enthusiastic, they sometimes lack the necessary skills to ensure the NGO is run successfully and is productive in its ventures. More importantly, that it becomes a long-term enduring venture.
Towards this end, TEWFI aims to become a knowledge base and learning and guiding centre for people from other NGOs across India. Facilities will be provided for teaching and training these members. In this manner, the guidance TEWFI can provide based on its experience and knowledge in areas of critical skills such as administration, management, fundraising, healthcare etc, can be passed on to other NGOs so that they too can do commendable work and help make a difference to society.
