TEWFI and its activities at Alampara have come about wholly through the tireless efforts of volunteers from around the world. Volunteers have been involved in fund raising, project planning and execution, designing, building, managing and provision of services. Everyone can contribute their skills, expertise, their time and energy in some form or other to assist those in need.

TEWFI welcomes volunteers with a wide range of skills including:

  • Administration
  • Public Relations/Marketing
  • Health and Medical Services
  • Education/Moral Education
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Policy & Procedure Development
  • Horticulture
  • Training Programs (staff and children)
  • Sports Coaching
Volunteers could work within our Health Care Centre or the Children's Home or the local school.

Those interested in volunteering their services should contact TEWFI at admin@tewoaf.org.au for information and application forms.

Day trips to surrounding areas and airport pick-ups from Chennai could also be arranged at cost value.

Or come just for a visit… TEWFI welcomes interested visitors, and invite you to come and view the programs we are undertaking in this beautiful part of South India. Please contact TEWFI at admin@tewoaf.org.au
to arrange permission to visit the Uluru Health Care Centre and the Uluru Children's Home.
