Although sizeable, India's problems can be solved. It does
not require a lot of money to make a real difference in
the Indian community. Money that is spent wisely can bring
about lasting change to those most in need. For instance:
- It
costs Rs. 5,000 per day to run the Uluru Health Care Centre
- It
costs Rs. 9,000 per month to employ a Nurse
- It
costs Rs. 10,000 per month to employ a Social worker
- It
costs Rs. 20,000 per month to employ a full time Doctor
- It
costs Rs. 3,000 per month to employ ancillary staff
- It
costs Rs. 6,000 per month to employ a Teacher
- It
costs Rs. 4,000 per month to employ a child Carer

It costs Rs. 1,000 per month to sponsor a child

It costs Rs. 6,000 per day to shelter, feed, care for
and educate the children
Donations are the lifeblood of a charitable Foundation,
and your donation will greatly assist us to continue our
work in India.
You can make a general contribution or specify the area
in which you would like the donation to be applied to.
Every donation, however big or small, is greatly valued.

Donate, toys, children's books, computers, electrical items,
furniture, arts and crafts materials, musical instruments
and audio-visual material such as CDs and videos. Contact
us to discuss what you would like to donate.
Foundation fellowships are available to individuals
or couples who donate Rs100,000 (AUS$3,400, $US2,380, UK£1950)
to TEWFI.
Apart
from this expression of support, Foundation Fellows can
choose to be actively involved in the planning, coordinating
and execution of the many activities of the Foundation.
One can also choose to join other Foundation Fellows in
building a self-contained unit on Foundation land in the
charitably-minded community of Alampara. This can be used
during your visits, and will be maintained on your behalf
by the Foundation. When not used by yourself it can be let
out by the Foundation to visitors, volunteers and guests,
with your permission. Proceeds from this after maintenance
charges may be donated to the Foundation.
Naming rights to many of the buildings,
rooms, courtyards, paths, gardens and roads on Foundation
land are available. You could choose to name any one of
the above in the children's home or in the health centre
in your own name or the name of a loved one.
